AARP's "Stand up for your health" free community event

Feel free to ignore the health care crisis – It’s only a problem for people who eat, sleep or breath. Too many Americans are just one major illness or injury away from financial ruin due to the skyrocketing costs of health care. AARP invites you to attend a free “Stand Up for Your Health” event in Spokane on May 7 to find out how you can make a difference. Your voice and your vote matter. Tell your story and join thousands of others across the nation who are getting involved through advocacy and action to build a healthier future. Participants will receive a free DVD and other educational materials on improving health care. Lunch is also included. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required.
